WEICON Aluminum Minute Adhesive

WEICON Aluminium Minute Adhesive is an aluminium-filled epoxy adhesive, fast curing with high impact resistance. The adhesive cures cold and is free from solvents. It fills gaps and is thixotropic, has very high tensile, impact and peel strength. After curing, the adhesive can be mechanically processed. The adhesive is particularly suitable for joining aluminium and other light metals with each other. For example, it is used to fill cracks and holes in aluminium housings and can be used to repair light alloy wheels.

Application method:
The conditions for perfect bonding are clean and dry surfaces to be bonded (cleaning and degreasing with WEICON Surface Cleaner). Smooth surfaces should be machined. Epoxy Minute Ahesive can be applied directly from the cartridge. Discard the first 5 cm of the dosed adhesive. Mix the product thoroughly. Quickly apply the mixture to the bonding surface. Then immediately connect both surfaces.

Storage conditions
WEICON Epoxy Adhesives have a shelf life of at least 18 months when stored unopened at a constant room temperature of approx. +20°C and in a dry state. Avoid exposure to sunlight. If these storage instructions are not followed, the storage stability is reduced to 6 months. In general, epoxy resins tend to crystallize at temperatures below +5°C. This effect is intensified by strong temperature fluctuations, which can occur more frequently during transport, especially in the winter months.

Świetny smar do mechanizmów precyzyjnych. Smaruję nim mechanikę magnetofonów, magnetowidów itp. Nie działa negatywnie na elementy gumowe jak też plastikowe. Jest dość rzadki i nie stwarza oporu dla precyzyjnych urządzeń. Świetnie je wycisza. Jest jeszcze jeden smar YM103 ale dostępny tyko w 1 kg puszkach. On jest nieco gęstszy.
