This system is specifically designed for non-glass panel applications that require high durability and quick service, such as:
- Rainproof facades
- Ventilated facades
- Architectural panels including aluminum, fiber reinforced cement (FRC), high pressure laminates (HPL) and ceramic tiles
Economical and easy to use, DOWSIL PanelFix expands the design possibilities of building cladding while maintaining safety and control
About the DOWSIL PanelFix system
Designed as a compatible set of products, the DOWSIL™ PanelFix System consists of DOWSIL™ 896 PanelFix, DOWSIL™ PanelFix Tape and appropriate primers and cleaners. Many benefits are provided, including:
- No visible connection points for improved aesthetics
- Very good adhesion properties, with primerless adhesion to various typical facade panel substrates
- Immediate adhesion after application
- High strength after complete curing
- Ease of use
- Excellent weather resistance; resistant to UV radiation, ozone and extreme temperatures
Factory connection of facades
In the factory, DOWSIL™ 896 PanelFix is used to attach the hooks to the panel, which is then connected on site to the subframe. With its wide sliding capabilities, DOWSIL 896 PanelFix can be used with virtually any size panel, and its high instant strength eliminates the need for tape.

The adhesive provides very high durability and, thanks to its resistance to UV rays and high temperatures, it has a higher quality than organic sealants. The immediate initial adhesion is about 4-5 times higher than in the case of standard sealants.
