Greases for central lubrication system

Central lubrication is a lubrication technique used mainly in industrial machines and in some vehicles. In this system, grease is supplied to all lubrication points by means of a central reservoir, pumps and pipes.

Basic components of the central lubrication system:

1. Grease tank : This is the container in which the grease is stored. It can have different capacities, depending on the needs of the system.
2. Pump : The pump is responsible for pumping lubricant from the reservoir to the rest of the system components such as tubes and distributors.
3. Distributors : These are the elements that receive the grease from the pump and distribute it to the individual lubrication points. They can be controlled mechanically, electrically or pneumatically to deliver grease at the right time and quantity to different places.
4. Tubes or pipes : These are the connections leading from the distributors to the lubrication points. They provide the transport of grease to bearings, shafts and other components requiring lubrication.
5. Lubricated components : These include bearings, shafts, joints and other moving parts of machines or vehicles that require lubrication to reduce friction and wear.
