BOLT GREASE Operating temperature -30 to +150 °C

Based on mineral oil, grease, thickeners, graphite with molybdenum, a paste for the assembly of bolted connections and threaded connections, ensuring the optimum tightening torque of bolts and obtaining initial tension. The paste prevents thread seizing, rusting. It is a product that provides both lubrication and separation of the protected elements and a low and constant coefficient of friction is independent of temperature and weather conditions.

When tightening the bolts, the contact surface of the bolt and nut becomes tribological friction bodies and the use of lubricant becomes necessary to maintain a constant frictional torque and stress. When tightening, high surface pressures (up to 1000 N / mm 2) are generated, usually at low sliding speed.

Bolt Grease is recommended for the lubrication of bolts, threaded studs, screws, grooved shafts, worm gears, and as a sealing and lapping paste for washers, wheels, flanges and bolts.

The composition of the paste is selected so as to significantly reduce the friction torque when tightening threaded elements and reduce the tension between the screw and nut (about 60%), facilitate disassembly and reduce the risk of damage resulting from work in difficult conditions, e.g. snow and rain, which may occur due to wear (tribocorrosion) and protected against freezing, rust and corrosion.
