GEAR GREASE - Evil Lubricants
Grease for electric bike gears
EVIL GEAR is a synthetic PAO (poly-alpha-olefin) from Evil Lubricants developed for the needs of the bicycle market and in particular parts of plastic electric bicycle gears.
The electric bike motor gear is the heart of the entire drive system. The gearbox transfers the power generated by the bicycle's electric motor to the drive wheel, which determines the effectiveness and efficiency of electric bicycle riding.
Electric bicycles are equipped with various types of gears, but the most common type of gears in a bicycle engine are planetary gears, including: TSDZ2, BBS01 and BBS02 gearbox. Evil Gear grease can be used in Bosch, Yamaha and other systems.
EVIL Gear grease is compatible with most plastics, including nylon and polyamide. The grease is also suitable for other metal friction nodes found in electric bicycles.
The very high viscosity of the base oil, 1120 mm²/s, means that it holds very well and is not thrown out during gear operation.
The lack of silicone means that the grease is very clean and at the same time very adhesive to the lubricated surface.
Features and Benefits
- compatible with many plastics and elastomers,
- the very high viscosity of the 1120 base oil means that it is not thrown out during gear operation
- good work in humid and wet conditions,
- good anti-corrosion properties,
- long-life grease,
- good shear resistance at low temperatures,
- very good noise and vibration damping,
- Grease resistant to low and high temperatures (-40 to +120).
The synthetic composition of the grease has been selected so that it effectively reduces the noise of planetary gears, which is of great importance for the comfort of operation of the electric bicycle engine.
