Krytox™ AUT 2045 - Car grease

Lubricant for the automotive industry

Krytox™ AUT 2045 grease without additives has an oil viscosity of 100 cSt and an estimated usable temperature range of -40°C to 200°C.

White PFPE grease is characterized by excellent product durability and unmatched performance. AUT 2045, like most Krytox™ greases, combines a base oil with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) powder as a thickener. The use of PFPE as a base oil provides excellent chemical and thermal stability to all Krytox™ lubricant product lines.

Krytox greases are recommended by many major bearing manufacturers for long life lubrication under severe conditions. The excellent film forming ability of Krytox grease provides a thicker oil film and reduces wear.

Krytox greases are compatible with metals and most sealing materials but require removal of all old grease from engine bearings before application.

Features and Benefits of Krytox AUT 2045 Grease

Krytox™ products are fully synthetic, non-petroleum based and completely inert, so Krytox™ oils and greases do not react with anything in the environment. Unlike other greases, at temperatures below 350 ºC (662 °F), Krytox™ oil does not oxidize or break down into other substances that could be harmful.
