DOWSIL™ PanelFix Tape
Double-sided tape for pre-gluing ventilated facade panels.
It is part of the DOWSIL™ PanelFix system for pre-fixing panels while the adhesive is curing. Thanks to the tape, the joint obtains a certain thickness and provides temporary support for the load during gluing of the panels
Application:
DOWSIL™ PanelFix Tape is suitable for the most common cladding panels used in rainproof/ventilated façade projects; usually used as a temporary support when installing cladding panels on site

PACKAGING:
The product is available in black: thickness 3.2 mm and width 12 mm.
It is delivered in rolls of 25 running meters in length. Tape box
contains 20 rolls.

Durability and Storage DOWSIL™ 896 PanelFix Tape
The product should be stored in its original packaging in a clean, dry, well-ventilated place. The shelf life will be at least 18 months in such conditions.
How to use
Both surfaces must be clean and dry to ensure proper hold; use Dow cleaner. At low temperatures, application time may increase the possibility of condensation on the surface, which may reduce the final finish
bond strength.
The adhesive is pressure sensitive, it is recommended to apply at a temperature of at least 5°C with as much pressure as your process allows (recommended minimum pressure is 1 bar).
