MOLYKOTE® 106 Anti-Friction Coating is a high-performance solvent-based grease that is thermally cured and provides a durable lubricating film. MOLYKOTE® 106 AFC leaves a grey coating with a very low coefficient of friction and excellent load-bearing capacity for heavy loads without the need for relubrication or frequent maintenance. MOLYOTE® 106 exhibits outstanding thermal stability at extremely low and high temperatures (-70°C to 250°C).
Applications
MOLYKOTE® 106 antifriction coating can be used in a wide range of applications that require long-term dry film lubrication, including:
- Magnetic armature
- Equipment with slow-speed or oscillating movements
- Locks, hinges and joints
- Engine and transmission components
- High-end equipment
- Surface friction equipment where grease or oil lubrication is undesirable
